Motife is more than a brand; it’s a celebration of India’s artisanal legacy. We are inspired by the age-old techniques of block printing, intricate embroidery, and the organic hues of vegetable and flower dyes. Each collection is a tribute to the hands that craft our garments, echoing the ethos of sustainable luxury. We work closely with master artisans from across India, ensuring that every stitch, dye, and print reflects the dedication and skill of generations. Our collections are an homage to the textures, colors, and stories of India. We are committed to reviving traditional techniques, with an emphasis on sustainability, ethical practices, and supporting local communities.
 
Founded in January 2024, we started our journey exploring streetwear infused with storytelling. As we delved deeper, we recognized a pressing issue: the rich tapestry of Indian craftsmanship was fading away. 
 
This realization led us to the vibrant villages of Rajasthan—Bagru, Sanganer, and Barmer—where we encountered extraordinary artisans dedicated to their craft. 
 
Inspired by their passion and skill, we made a pivotal decision: to shift our focus entirely to promoting and preserving Indian craftsmanship. From now on, our collections will feature exclusively handmade products that honor the rich cultural heritage of these communities.
